Quicken Bill Pay (Bill Payment Services provided by Metavante Payment Services, LLC) is included in Quicken Premier and above and is available on QuickenBillPay.com as a separate add-on service in Starter and Deluxe. 15 payments per month included in Premier and above.

Hi, my old iMac died and I am trying to reinstall Quicken for Mac 2015 on my other Mac (temporarily). I cannot get by the Register/Sign In screen using my Intuit ID to complete setup and import my data from backup. I also cannot re-register. Any suggestions?

- edited September 2018Hello David. Appreciate your question.
You would need to get up to date on Quicken 2015 so that you can sign in with a Quicken ID instead of a Intuit ID.
The best way to do this is to download Quicken Utility: https://www.quicken.com/support/updating-quicken-mac-purchased-mac-app-store, Section 2 (To install the utility for Quicken Mac)
Once downloaded and installed, launch Quicken Utility and you should see some updates for Quicken:
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Respectfully,
~ Quicken Harold.0 - edited September 2018Hi Harold,
Thanks for your reply. When I launch the utility and click on Check for Updates it launches my Quicken 2015 Registration screen. It does not check for any updates. Also, I have the CD version...not the App store version.
Thanks,
David - edited September 2018Hello David,
I would quit out of Quicken prior to launching the Quicken Utility. Allow the updates to be done through the utility.
Hope this helps.
Respectfully,
~ Quicken Harold.
PS: Quicken 2015 is not supported through Quicken Support, so trying any option to get you up and running.0 - edited September 20180
- edited September 2018Hi David,
I would try uninstalling and reinstalling Quicken 2015 and then try to do the update through Quicken Utility prior to opening up any Quicken files.
Hope this helps.
Respectfully,
~ Quicken Harold.0 - edited September 2018I will try. The utility tells me that 'Quicken 2015 can install updates automatically'. My options are then Cancel or Launch Quicken 2015.

You can try launching Quicken 2015, and then go to the Quicken menu and choose 'Check for Updates' and see if this works for you.
Let us know the results.

At this point, I would recommend contacting Quicken Support on the phone on Monday. We can have one of our Mac representatives look into the situation and work towards a resolution.
Please request a screen share.

Quicken 2015 for Mac is no longer supported. No more updates. Was told I must upgrade to latest version. This is very disappointing as it is not THAT old...I will try. The utility tells me that 'Quicken 2015 can install updates automatically'. My options are then Cancel or Launch Quicken 2015.

Thanks for everyone's help. I will have to think about if I want to continue with Quicken and the new subscription requirement...

Glad you got it installed. It should have also presented you with an update to the latest version -- 2.9.7 -- if you didn't already have it. (It does this even though Quicken 2015 is no longer officially supported.) Of course, since it is unsupported, you can't download any data from financial institutions into it, but you can continue to use it to manually enter data if you wish.Hi,

You can decide at any time whether the enhancements the developers have made in the past three years makes upgrading the the current version compelling enough for you. You may find what you have with Quicken 2015 suits your needs, but it's worth being aware of what has been changed in the current version. You can read here the release notes for Quicken 2016, Quicken 2017 and Quicken 2018 to get a good sense of new and enhanced features.QMac 2007 & QMac Subscription • Quicken user since 1993

Hi, I need to install Quicken 2015 on my 2nd computer and the OS is 10.9.5. So Quicken 2017 does not work, where can I find a DL of Quicken 2015 in order to run the program on this additional computer? Thanks!

- edited March 2017You can just copy the Quicken app from the Applications folder at the top level of your hard drive onto a thumb drive or other moveable media. Then copy from the thumb drive to the Applications folder on the 2nd computer. You will need to be logged in to an Admin account to modify the Applications folder.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s
- edited August 2018Thanks for your reply! Thing is the Quicken App 2017 does not open on this other MAc which is on OS 10.9.5, it does not seem to be compatible, it says in the HELP section that I will need QUICKEN 2015 for this other computer, I was not able to find this QUICKEN 2015 APP.

I think I misunderstood your original question. I thought you were already running a copy of QM2015 on the first computer. Thanks for your reply! One option would be upgrade your OX 10.9 computer to 10.10 if possible. OS 10.10 will run QM2017.
Otherwise, if you don't already own a copy of QM2015, you will need to purchase it. One source: https://www.amazon.com/Quicken-Personal-Finance-Budgeting-Software/dp/B00MA5TSNI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&...
Keep in mind that you won't be able to move a data file back and forth between QM2015 and QM2017.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s - edited February 2017
Thank you, that's what I thought. Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I can't upgrade this other mac as it is a workstation running older software that won't work on latest versions of the OS.
So I will probably stay on 2017 on the 1st computer, ans use the Iphone app otherwise!
I am not surprise it might cause data exchange issues.
Thank you! - edited February 2017
There are 3 alternatives you can consider:Thanks for your reply! Thing is the Quicken App 2017 does not open on this other MAc which is on OS 10.9.5, it does not seem to be compatible, it says in the HELP section that I will need QUICKEN 2015 for this other computer, I was not able to find this QUICKEN 2015 APP.- If you have mobile devices (iOS or Android) and if all you want to sync is cash, bank, and credit card accounts, consider using Quicken Mobile on a mobile device (as you have mentioned). You can sync more than one mobile to the same data file located on one of your computers, as long as you use the same Intuit ID associated to the data file. Note that this is limited to sync 24 months plus new transactions.
- use remote access software (several free options, e.g. NoMachine and Teamviewer) to access Quicken on one computer from the other, or even mobile devices (see this great article for complete review of many options (most are free): http://machow2.com/rdp-for-mac/ ). If both are Macs, the built-in Mac OS X screen-sharing may work for you too. The advantage of these solutions is that you retain access to all the features of Quicken, unlike Quicken Mobile. The trade-off is that the host computer cannot really be used for anything else while using Quicken with these remote solutions.
- use VPN software, a little more complicated to set up but more versatile. You will need to research options for this.

Hi! I am using Quicken 10 for Windows 7 in a Mac Pro using Parallels 9. I have a serious problem with one of my QW files since all previous registered data has disappeared (show dates 00/00/1900). I can not open the back-up of today (Feb.23/2017). Don't know what to do. Thank you very much for any help on this regard. Thanks for your reply! Quilla, Please post your question as a new topic and tag it as a Quicken Windows question. This really isn't a Mac question since you are working in Parallels you are really working in Windows. About the only thing that a Mac expert could help you with would be to suggest that you might restore your entire Parallels virtual machine from a Time Machine or other backup. Thanks for your reply!
